My love for scent started when I worked for Estée Lauder Companies. I took delight in being surrounded by fragrances that I knew had been carefully created one of them being Estée's first ever fragrance... Youth Dew.

My own career path took a turn from the world of scent into the world of law. After practising as a criminal lawyer in London, I became a specialist in business development. Combining this with my entrepreneurial ambitions led me to be the founder of two thriving businesses. 

However, throughout my career, my love for scent never went away. So, when my daughter Matilda was very young, I took the opportunity to step away from the corporate world. It was time to write my next chapter and to be creative with scent. 

On the 9th of December 2022 Melissa Wilkes England was launched. Inspired by travel and wonderful life experiences I have worked with master perfumers to create fragrances that will make your homes smell amazing.
